This device is designed for contact less
detection of timers and remote controlled
explosive devices.
The device detects mechanical (clockwise
based), electromechanical and electronic
(including wrist-watch based) timers,
and also electronic remote controlled
explosive devices occupied by decoders
(pagers, cellular telephones based).
The operational principle of the device
is based on the reception of electrical,
magnetic, acoustic and vibration fields,
which are created by electronic and mechanical
timers and control circuits of explosive
devices, and subsequent analysis of periodic
rhythms present in adopted signals.
Analyzing fields:
• Magnetic (H) field (electro mechanical
timers, pagers and cellular telephones);
• Electrical (E) field (electronic
clock based timers);
• Acoustic and vibration (mechanical
timers)
Features:
• Detection of periodic rhythms
of mechanical and electronic timers in
improvised explosive devices (I.E.D.)
• Detection of electronic timers,
including electronic wrist-watch based.
• The device is simple is use, lightweight
and compact.
• The device also has the capability
to inspect closed packages and handbags
with the help of a needle-shaped acoustic
microphone.
• Test target (mechanical, electromechanical
and electronic) are available.
