When detects cellular phone signals, ITS-D055-BD broadcasts the pre-recorded voice message to warn of illegal use of cellular phones asking to shut them off. ITS-D055-BD has a timer for setting the warning message intervals. ITS-D055-BD also has a control for user to adjust the volume.
